Rtk Legend of Kongming (Zhuge Liang)Experience Points & Level Gains - Han Zhang
You can make your generals' levels as high as you like. Basic strategy: play a mission. Near the end, select mission re-start. You will play the mission again, but the experience points and level gained by your generals won't alter. To Become Invisible!!!!!!!! - Keith
As in attack 255, defence 255, magic 255, spell point 255, life 1000 (able to do for all character, even though the level of that character is low)
Rtk Legend of Cao Cao
- Halfway through the game, you get to buy statistic enhancing item, like "wu meng guo"(add attack), buy a few for your character.
- During battle, use them, then restart, the scenario. (item will not use up, but you get to keep the increased statistic!!!!)
- You can keep repeating to get to max. value for each statistic!!!!
Levels of Generals - Han Zhang
Not really a cheat. . . but it does help a lot (especially when it comes to save Dian Wei and Guo Jia). In this game, the levels of opponent it completely depended on the average of levels of the generals you send to battle field. So, in harder missions such as battle of Wan, you can select a bunch of hopeless people, and hence your opponents' levels and abilities will be negligible compared to Dian Wei. Then BASH them.Rtk Legend of Heroes
Playing any level you like - Han Zhang
Brief computer science introduction: Recall how you have 5 slots where u can save your games.... by saving your game in each of the slots will create 2 files in the RTKheros directory, namely msave?.r3s and esave?.r3s. The "?" is supposed to be a number. This number is dependent on which slot you saved your game in. The rule is: "?" = n -1 assumed you've saved on the nth slot. The way the computer loads your game is by matching the msave?.r3s and esave?.r3s, when you choose which game you want to load. The msave file stores general stats (eg Liu Bei, Lv 23) while the esave file stores your game progress (eg Battle of Huai Nan).Cheat: Since the computer loads a game by matching up esave file and msave file, we could attempt to construct our own saved game by rematching msave and esave mannually (ie, goto dos, and rename esave and msave of 2 different games with appropriate suffix). eg, you may choose to construct a saved game where the general stats are Lv40's, but gaming progress is only at Battle of Ying Chuan (fight and kick (l hope) Guo Tu who's on Lv26). This can be done by simply rename msave?.r3s to msave0.r3s, and esave#.r3s to esave0.r3s where ? and # are arbitary positive integers.
Since after each mission, your general stats are bound to increase by various quantities, so in theory, we could, by rematching and replaying a sequence of missions over and over again to get the Lvs as high as we like. Or alternatively, if you're the type who like a bit more challenge, perhaps consider to try Battle of Yangping Pass (against Cao Cao, Lv 58) with a whole bunch of Lv35 guys. However a few things to note:
Here's a case example: if you want to replay battle of Yangping Pass. Before you play that level, save it at the very top slot. Play the mission, then save it on the 2nd slot after u finished. Now, quit game, and "copy msave1.r3s msave0.r3s" (Dos command). Reload up the game, load the game saved at the very top slot.
- You may play from the beginning with the generals you have by simply deleting the esave file.
- Rematching esave and msave will only work if the 2 saved games were originally from the same map(chapter).
- Best missions to replay are: Battle of Mai (Guan Yu +10 Lv each time), Battle of Ying Chuan (Zhao Yun + 7 Lv each time), Battle of Bowang, Changban, Nanyang....etc (50 Exp each time for everyone), Battle of Cheng Du (Liu Bei + 7Lv each time) and Battle of Chang Sha (get Sword of Heros each time).
- Using this method, Huang Zhong is actually savable. All you need to do is match the msave of a mission when Huang is alive with the esave of battle of Ye.
- This re-matching can a lot of times having you end up with 2 identical ppl fighting at different sides. eg, Battle of Tai Shan, Li Ming could be on both sides, as she's is supposed to be the boss, while if u send her out to war, she's the same time on your side. When this happens, your Li Ming's Lv will drop to the computer's Lv regardless what her current Lv is. So in those cases, don't send them out to war.
