Audience With regards to matters and issues that is not appropriate to raise and discuss during the court sessions chaired by the Emperor or King, an official can bring the issue in question to his lord privately. Likewise the Emperor may want to summon one or more of his trusted subjects and have an audience with them instead of bringing the matter up during the court session which the "rebels" might get wind of it.

Charity
Charity Although Rtk is a period of chaos and turmoil, warlords in a bid to win the people's hearts and support, donate out food supplies from their army granary and gold from their treasury to help peasants build homes, farms, workshops and thus improve the local economy. After all, a healthy and happy citizenry in their territory will be more likely to defend their homes and beloved ones against foreign invasion. Through acts of charity, these wise warlords can strengthen their hold on their domains.
Court Session
Court Session A responsible ruler or warlord will conduct regular court sessions with his generals and civil officials to discuss matters pertaining to the progress of his domain. During the court session, proposals are submitted by the officials and the lord/emperor can hear the opinions and obtain other viable options as to how to best implement and tackle the problem. In Rtk era during the court session, civil officials are dressed in black robes while generals are dressed in brown robes. Civil officials are grouped together and stand on one side of the court while the generals occupy the other side.
Feast
Feast A sumputous meal often accompanied with wine or fine tea for a joyous occasion. The rich nobles has the added luxury of entertainers such as dancers, musicians to add more atmosphere to the feast.
Festival
Festival On festivals, feasts are thrown out as a form of celebration. The rich nobles can throw a feast for their guests or whatever joyous occasion they deem fit. The commoners who are mostly making ends meet on the other end usually have a feast on festivals.
Bountiful Harvest
Good Harvest Considered a great event in medieval times considering the myrid of events that can potentially devastate the crops. As celebration people normally held a feast to enjoy a sumptous meal. Superstitous people believe it is a blessing by the heavens and present offerings at temples as thanks and pray that the following year will enjoy a bountiful harvest.
Hunting
Hunting A favorite outdoor pasttime for the rich nobles (modern equivalent is probably golf). Usually one or more followers will tag along. Basically these servants will wait upon their masters such as bringing other nesscessary items like water and food as well as locating the possible preys and the hauling back of the hunted carcass.

The other purpose of the hunt besides practising the skill involve in hunting animals is the interaction involved among the hunters.

Proclaimation of King
Proclaim as King After Emperor, the second highest rank is the King which is a rank signifying a person who rules over a huge piece of territory (not as vast as the Emperors). The territory in this case is referred to as a kingdom.
Proclaimation of Emperor
Proclaim as Emperor The Emperor is the highest rank in chinese history. It signifies a person ruling over vast tracks of land. Often such proclaimation are an extravagant affair and is celebrated throughout the country/empire.
Recuperate
Recuperate Wounds sustained during battle are common in the chaotic Three Kingdoms period. At many times a painful ordeal, it is also a time where one experience the care and concern showered by others during a bonding time like this. For most people, this recuperative period is crucial to a full recovery since any wrong food, medication or treatment can worsen the condition instead of making it better.
Hermit
Hermit Conflict, destruction and death is common place in a turbulent period. Those who desire a peaceful life chose to move to a secluded place often in the hills or mountains to be in harmony with nature. Though pretty much cut off from the rest of the mundane world and highly inaccessible, it is a price worth paying for those who choose to avoid the chaotic world.
Reward/Promotion
Promotion A way of retaining good personnel that is still practised today. Rewards and promotions are intricate ways to recognise the contributions by individuals. It also serves as a form of motivation as the person rewarded will strive to achieve greater heights.

Failure to accord proper rewards and promotions will result in discontent which may lead to low morale and in worse cases sabotage by the discontent individual. In the modern day today, the individual has more means to inflict destruction given the state of technology compared to medieval times.

Recommendation
Recommendation Quite a number of civil officials and generals came about serving their lords through the recommendation of others. What is admirable is that some highly capable people are magnanimous enough to recommend other high calibre talented people instead of being afraid that the people they recommend may outshine them in performance.
