Items

Divided into three categories - Weapons, Horses and Literacy Works. This page presents some of the items and stuff used by the characters during the Three Kingdoms period along with a brief description of them. I have encounter some diffciulties in translating some of the items listed on this page from their chinese equivalents to english so expect a bit of inconsistencies for their names. Anyway there is nothing to worry cause the difference is minimal.

Weapons
Big Axe Big Axe
An axe blade mounted on the end of a spear. Xu Huang wield this in battle. This weapon has engaged formidable opponents such as Guan Yu, Yan Liang and Xu Chu before.
Twin Swords Twin Swords
A sword on each hand, this pair of twin swords accompany Liu Bei on the battlefield ever since the Yellow Scarves Rebellion.
Lunar Spear Lunar Spear
Weapon of the mighty Lu Bu. This spear of his has an extra crescent-moon blade attached it it and is best remembered in the scene where Lu Bu battled the threesome Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Later Lu Bu acting as peacemaker shot an arrow through the small opening among the blades and prevented Liu Bei and Ji Ling from waging a battle.
Green Dragon Crescent-Moon Blade Green Dragon Crescent-moon Blade
Guan Yu's weapon. Said to weigh 41 kilograms/ 90 pounds. Another term called "Guan dao" was evolved later for this unique type of weapon which Guan Yu has fallen many enemy generals with. This weapon was later passed on to Guan Yu's son Guan Xing who slain the Wu general Pan Zhang with this weapon during Liu Bei's punitive expedition against East Wu.
Octane Serpent Spear Octane Serpent Spear
Zhang Fei's weapon of choice is the spear. Said to measure 5.4 meters/ 17.7 feet long.
Qing Gang Sword Qing Gang Sword/Luminous Sword
The dauntless Zhao Yun obtained this precious sword after slaying Xiahou En on Changban slope amid the encirclement of Cao troops while trying to locate and bring back Liu Bei's wives and his new born child Liu Chan.
Yi Tian Sword Yi Tian Sword/Sword of Heaven
In Cao Cao possession. It complements the Qing Gang Sword.
Seven Stars Sword Seven Stars Sword
Minister of the Interior Wang Yun gave this sword to Cao Cao for him to use on his assasination attempt on Dong Zhuo. The attempt failed when Dong Zhuo saw Cao Cao's reflection as he drew this sword but the quick witted Cao Cao quickly presented this sword to Dong Zhuo to mask his intention instead.
Gu Ding Sword Gu Ding Sword
Sun Jian's sword.
San Jian Blade San Jian Blade
A spearlike weapon of Ji Ling, a general under Yuan Shu. It has three pointed edges and weigh 25 kilograms/ 55 pounds.
Tie Ji Spear Tie Ji Spear
Weapon of Cheng Pu, another veteran general of Wu Kingdom.
Whip Whip
Weapon of Wu's veteran general Huang Gai.
Liu Xing Liu Xing aka Shooting Star
A ranged weapn of Wang Shuang. Used to hit opponents at a distance and hopefully knock them off their balance and bring them to the ground.
Daggers Daggers
A secret weapon of Madam Zhu Rong, wife of the southern barbarian king Meng Huo.
Shou Zhao Shou Zhao
Taishi Ci had a pair of them on his back. Basically a pair of small blades. Best seen in his personal duel with Sun Ce.
Xiu Jian Xiu Jian aka Fine Arrow
A secret weapon that can be hidden in the sleaves.

Horses
Dilu Horse Dilu Horse
Zhao Yun slain Zhang Wu and presented this horse to Liu Bei after he remarked about this fine thorough bred this horse is. Rumored to bring disaster to its owner but Liu Bei was not worried and said life and death are predestined. This horse saved Liu Bei's life from Cai Mao's pursuit but caused the death of Pang Tong.
Red Hare Red Hare
Dubbed the Red Hare due to its reddish color and speed. This fine stead is originally Lu Bu's. It fell into Cao Cao's hands upon Lu Bu's capture and execution by Cao Cao. The horse was later given to Guan Yu by Cao Cao as he try ways to win Guan Yu over to his side.
Jue Ying Horse Jue Ying aka Shadowless
Cao Cao's favourite stead. Gallop fast and said to leave practically no shadow behind.
Zhao???????????? Flying Lightning
Cao Cao rode this horse at the hunting trip with Emperor Xian.

Literacy Items
Dun Jia Heavenly Book of Dun Jia
The taoist Zuo Ci obtained this heavenly book from Er Mei Mountain. It comprises of three volumes, namely Heaven, Earth and Life.
Scared Volume of Taiping Scared Volume of Taiping
A medical book which Yu Gan obtained.
Sun Tze's War Manual Sun Tze's War Manual
Written by Sun Wu during the so-called Spring and Autumn Period (703-481 B.C). The other strategist from the western world to best Sun Wu is probably Carl Von Clausewitz. Even though the manual is written more than 2000 years ago. Much of its concepts are still relevant today.
New Treatise of Mengde New Treatise of Mengde
Cao Cao's written compilation of his strategies. Zhang Song rediclule about the contents that even a young kid can recite its contents and thereafter recited some to Yang Xiu. Yang Xiu informed Cao Cao about Zhang Song's remarks and his recitement of the contents and Cao Cao, in a fit of fury burn away this hard written work of his.
Zhuge Liang's War Manual Twenty Four Volumes/Chapters of War
Zhuge Liang's compilation of his strategies on the art of war. Comprising of twenty four volumes/chapters, Zhuge Liang rushed to finish the final chapters before his "time" is up. At his deathbed, Zhuge Liang handed over this work of his to his successor Jiang Wei.
Map of Southern Shu Map of Southern Shu
Map of the southern Shu land where Meng Huo reside in. Enabled Zhuge Liang to have an advantage in conducting battles in the southern remote lands.
Map of Xichuan Map of Xichuan
Touched by Liu Bei's kind hospitality, Zhang Song gave this map of Xichuan to Liu Bei which proved invaluable in aiding Liu Bei in his quest to set up his kingdom in the west.
Green Box Green Box
The box in which the famous physician Hua Tuo kept his medical books.
Imperial Jade Seal Imperial Jade Seal
Dished out of a well from a woman's body in Luoyang. Sun Jian intent to keep the discovery a secret but a men under him betrayed him by reporting it to Yuan Shao. Sun Jian was later killed in action in a battle for possession over the seal. His son Sun Ce used it to exchange for troops with Yuan Shu and these small forces were the pioneer troops toward the founding of the Wu Kingdom.
