What is clear is that every board no matter how big or small appears to suffer with troublemakers.
Report Troubling Posts to Mods/Admin
Drop a notification if you see any disturbing posts. Just a simple statement like "XXX is flaming" or "XXX is creating havoc" is enough to enable us to probe into the issue and take the necessary actions. Don't assume that someone else has reported! If everyone has that type of attitude, terrorism will increase more throughout the world.Something Interesting......

When Will A Topic/Message Be Deleted? (Topic Creator, Poster, Mod, Admin)
For threads that is of little to no value to the community that demands leaving the topic/message in place, the topic will be closed and moved to the troubleshooting forum for a while before deletion.
- Utterly useless exchanges which contributed nothing to the betterment of the human race
- Meaningless exchanges which are more suitable for IRC than a message board
- Unacceptable behavior (as determined by the tone of the community; e.g., profanity)
- Posting useless crap to make their number of posts go up
- Completely off-topic discussion
- No part of the topic/message is salvageable by editing
- Illegal/defamatory statements
Ignore Flamers
The sole purpose of the flamer is to incite hate and chaos through a personal attack or sensitive issue. Don't ever fall into his trap by replying to his flaming messages. His plot is to incite you to reply back to him and in doing so you give him a chance to further incite you and in turn drag other posters in. The most insidious of his intention is that in dragging other innocent posters into the flame pit, these innocent posters would be perceived to have broken the rules by flaming back. And since these innocent posters have broken the rules by posting flaming and hateful messages back, they are expected to be banned as well together with him.Respect the decision of moderators and admin. Situation or circumstance dictate the course of action and rules and guidelines are changed without prior notice to take care of the needs of the majority.

![]()
Wei Yan Inciting Sima Yi Successful Incitement: Cao Ren knowing that Zhou Yu is wounded by a poisoned arrow shot by Niu Jin succeeded in inciting Zhou Yu to come out of his camp by hurling insults. Zhou Yu fell into Cao Ren's incitement trap when he came out of the camp to challenge him. Zhou Yu's wound is then further aggravated when Cao Ren ordered his troops to hurl even more insults. Unsuccessful Incitement: Following the orders of Zhuge Liang, Wei Yan came before the base camp of the Wei army to incite Sima Yi to come out of the camp to fight by insulting Sima Yi's loss of his golden helmet to Chen Shi. Sima Yi's sons Sima Shi and Sima Zhao were pissed off and wanted to dash out to retrieve the commander's helmet but he kept his cool and ignored the verbal abuse.

Sometimes it is difficult to decide whether to close a topic or delete it. In general, deference should be given to the members participating, and it’s better to close a topic than to delete it. If there are individual messages in the thread that are offensive, they can be individually removed though caution is needed so that the remaining thread still makes sense.
- Discussion is heading off-topic, but does not merit deletion
- The thread is becoming too lengthy
- The initial message and replies contain valuable information, but further discussion is not desired
